June 2008, Latest news:

I'm currently working on a brand new bgiok website with a new look and lots of new content.

While this is being built, I won't be able to accept submissions to the site. Apologies for this, but I feel the benefits of the new site will make up for the temporary hold on updates on this current one.

Please feel free to email your throughts and ideas on what you'd like to see on the new site to jason@bgiok.org.uk

In the meantime, all the existing content is here to see, and the forum is live as usual.

Thank you,

Jason.

Welcome to 'Being gay is okay': a website run by myself, Jason, to offer advice, information and support to young gay/bi/unsure people.

You might have heard negative attitudes about homosexuality. Maybe you're having a tough time coming to terms with being gay or with other people's intolerance toward you. Whatever your situation, I hope that you will find the information and reassurance on this website that you are looking for.

Maybe you don't feel it right now, but hopefully soon you'll realise that being gay really is okay.

bgiok is funded and run by one person: me! I kindly ask that if you have enjoyed or benefited from this website and feel you would like to make a donation to support it, I'd be extremely grateful. You can use PayPal or a credit/debit card by clicking the button on the left. Thank you very much.
