Problem page introduction

The Being gay is okay problem page is here to offer individual advice and support to gay, lesbian, bisexual and unsure under twentyfives.

I'm not a doctor or psychiatrist but I can promise unbiased, practical and sympathetic advice from someone who knows where you're coming from.

I've been answering problem page letters on this website since 2000 and have been fortunate enough to receive praise for my advice from health professionals, parents, friends of gay loved ones, and most importantly, the authors of the letters themselves.

  • Send your problem page letters from the contact page. You don't have to give your real name or supply an email address if you don't want to.
  • I typically add new problem page entries every week or fortnight. If you like, I can email you to let you know when your letter is live on the website.
  • I cannot guarantee that I will reply to all problem page letters received.
